The Mk5 has been our most successful product to date. Its main appeal to many is the placement of the drag adjustment on the same side of the reel which many anglers still prefer as this allows one to adjust the drag without swapping the rod over to the other hand. The other great feature about the Mk5 is the very simple design which cannot fail. This is the most dependable reel with the least number of parts. These reels can now be supplied with or without an outgoing clicker signal. For a robust, affordable, reliable cork disc drag reel, you cannot better the Mk5 as a saltwater reel.
